What is a good country to set my story in?

It's basically abut this girl who is a Enchantress and she's in some woods and then she discovers a amulat that is very powerful and belongs to the werewolves. She steals it and this boy who is part werewolf has to get it back from her but without discovering who he really is to her. I have no idea which country to set it in. I don't want it to be a very common country like America or Britain. I want it like to be a very small cold island. Can you give me some suggestions?
